The Shumway Capital Foundation was established by Chris Shumway and the members of Shumway Capital Partners (SCP). The Foundation targets poverty in Connecticut by investing in high-impact nonprofits that tackle our community’s most pressing challenges. In addition, the Foundation promotes the growth of philanthropy by encouraging its board of directors’ active involvement in our grantee programs. The Foundation seeks to fund and partner with organizations that work to obtain tangible results in breaking the cycle of poverty in Connecticut. Throughout the relationship, grant recipients receive the Foundation’s full support in growing successful programs.
